LendingCalculators.com ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Ready Utilities, a portfolio of free online tools run by Cedrick Reese in the United States. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language and is not legal advice.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
Server logs, consent records, and the cookieless analytics described above are used to run the site securely, respect your choices, and see which calculators are useful; where EU or UK law applies, the basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site, and because the analytics sets no cookies and stores no personal identifier it runs without asking for consent. Contact form details are used to reply to you, on the basis of the request you made. Advertising and analytics cookies, described below, are used only with your consent where the law requires consent.
The site may add display advertising served by Google AdSense in the future. It is not running on the day this policy was last updated; when it is switched on, this section applies as written and the cookie policy lists the specific cookies. Visitor statistics come from the self-hosted, cookieless Umami analytics described above, not from Google Analytics.
When advertising runs, Google and other third-party vendors will use cookies, web beacons, and IP addresses to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and may place and read cookies on your browser as a result of ad serving on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising privacy page, and how Google uses data from sites that use its services is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. If ads are added, they will be labeled "Advertisements" and never placed inside a calculator or its results.
Non-essential cookies do not load until you agree in the consent banner where the law requires consent. You can change your choice at any time through the banner's preference center, opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com or optout.aboutads.info. The site's own analytics sets no cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of in the banner for it; blocking the script with a browser extension is the way to stop it if you prefer.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing. Data is processed in the United States.
Everyone: you can ask what personal information we hold about you (for most visitors that is nothing beyond a server log line or a contact message), ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Send requests through the contact page; we will respond within the time the applicable law allows and will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents: the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to businesses that meet revenue or data-volume thresholds this site does not currently meet, but we honor the rights it describes anyway: to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. If personalized advertising is enabled, information shared with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising can be limited by declining advertising cookies in the consent banner. This site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no agreed standard for them; the consent banner is the control that works here.
EU and UK visitors: you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and the right to withdraw consent at any time through the consent banner without affecting earlier processing. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Calculator inputs are never stored. Consent records are kept for as long as the consent management platform retains them, so the site can honor your choice. Contact messages are kept while there is a reason to keep the conversation and then deleted. Server logs are retained on the hosting provider's standard schedule. The site is served over HTTPS.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, tell us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy, for example when advertising or analytics is switched on. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be noted here.
